BEYOND THE BOUQUET
One of the most magical parts of the flower farm is to offer opportunities to learn and interact with flowers beyond the flower stand and farmers market. From private workshops to flower bars the Farmette has had the pleasure to offer custom orders and experiences of all kinds. Want to bring the magic of Fairytale into your life? FRIDAY FLOWER BAR
We offer a seasonal Summer Friday Flower Bar from 5-7 pm at the Farmette Stand for 6-weeks beginning in July. This Flower Bar is open to the public and is offered by drop-in or subscription. In addition, the Farmette Stand is open for a self-serve Dahlia bar for 2 weeks in September.
How it works:

Every Friday from 5-7 pm the “Flower Bar” will be open on Fairytale’s Stand.

Choose your own local seasonal blooms grown right here at the Farmette.

Transport your blooms in a returnable quart mason jar each week, simply return your mason jar and receive a clean jar each week!
PUBLIC WORKSHOPS
Keep your eyes peeled on social media and the website for notifications about our popular flower arranging and holiday Magnolia wreath building workshops. Partnering with local Farms, such as Honey's Harvest and P.A. Bowen Farmstead these workshops are offered several times a year. Registration is available at the host-farm's site.
Host a Private Workshop
Let us bring a Fairytale workshop to your home or office! Learn to create your own fresh magnolia wreath or build a seasonal flower arrangement. With all of the materials included to complete your project provided by the Farmette. Call Kelly at 202-297-2351 to discuss options and ideas. Psst...This is one of my FAVORITE things!!
A 10 person minimum is required to schedule a private workshop.

Host a Private Flower Bar
Host a private flower bar event at your home or office. Perfect for rehearsal dinners, baby and bridal showers, engagement parties and team building at the office. Beautiful seasonal blooms for your guests to take home.
Full Service
Choose a full service flower bar, delivery, set-up and broom clean-up is included. Farmer-florist Kelly will stay for the duration of your event to assist your guests in creating there own beautiful mason jar bouquet of flowers. Private flower bars start at $500, and serve approximately 20 guests.
DIY
Choose the number of buckets of blooms and foliage for on-farm pick up for your event. In this option, select the amount and mason jar size to customize the flower bar for your event. Buckets of blooms start at $50 and contain approximately 30-40 blooms or stem depending on variety.
